The you I write about in this article is the real you, the part of you that occupies your fleshly body now and will someday occupy your new spiritual body and will live forever after in the new spiritual body. Salvation is not in any other sense partial or incomplete. It is not temporary. God does not save us for only part of forever. He does not make us His children for only part of our lives or part of eternity. All of salvation involves the real you, the eternal you. John 8:44a Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.W hen we are saved our old relationship as a child of the Devil is completely over, gone, done, finished -- never to exist again. He now becomes our 24/7 adversary, accuser, persecutor and hindrance. When we are saved God becomes our 24/7 Father, Protector, Guide, Planner, Executive Director, Strengthener, Motivator, Provider, Comforter, Sustainer and whatever else we need Him to be. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:As many as received Him means 100 percent of those who receive Him. It does not say as many as received Him plus or minus a few. Unbelievers in Jesus Christ try to find other means of salvation. There is no other successful way of salvation. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
